Join me for some slow and calming crafting as we’ll learn how to weave together in my Black and White house in boho Holland Village. At my three hour class, I will show you how to set up a weaving loom, teach you a few weaving techniques to create a piece of art full of floofy texture, and show you how to finish your weaving so you’ll have your own piece of art to proudly display in your space.

Participants will be asked about their preferred colours to work with on the day, so when you arrive, you’ll be greeted with baskets full of yarns and roving in your favourite colours. During the session, you may enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in my cat and dog-friendly space while you weave, and leave with a wall hanging that you’ve woven during the class. As weaving is a labour- and time-intensive craft, your finished weaving will measure approximately 12cm across and at least 15cm long. 

Classes are priced at $110 per person. You may also opt to add on a weaving kit for an additional $60 after the class. The weaving kit includes a loom and tools, as well as a pack of yarns fibres to give you a leg up on your new hobby – this includes a $20 skein of art yarn I will spin especially for you.
