Thank you for choosing to attend a class with Magpie & Giggles. Before completing your order, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions. By ordering and paying for your session, you agree to the following:
Only sign ups with full payment made will be confirmed. Please make payment on the same day that you sign up using PayLah or PayNow (details will be provided after you check out) and reply to the email of your booking confirmation with a screenshot of your payment to lock in your spot in the class. Bookings made without payment received will be released the following day.
Classes are not refundable, but are transferrable. You may find someone to replace you with three working days notice if you are not able to make it for your session. No refunds will be provided for no-shows, cancellations or transfers made with less than three working days’ notice.
Magpie & Giggles reserves the right to postpone or cancel workshops, or refuse your booking for any reason. In the event I cancel your session, I will provide you with a full refund. In the event that it is postponed, I will work with you to reschedule the class to a new date.
The minimum age to attend my workshops is 13 years old. Attendees under the age of 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign an indemnity form prior to their participation.
If you have selected and purchased the loom kit add-on to your workshop experience, please confirm your colour palette at least three working days before the commencement of your class. This will help facilitate the assembly of your box and give me enough time to spin an art yarn just for you.
Please arrive to the class on time. You may arrive 5 minutes before the session to get settled, get a coffee or tea and chat. If you are late for your workshop, you may be unable to enjoy the workshop in its entirety and may disrupt other attendees.
Photographs and videos may be taken during the class of you or your work, and will be used as marketing or publicity materials for Magpie & Giggles. If you do not want to be photographed/have your face appear in my materials, please let me know before the class and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
I have a cat and dog living with me. If you have any health concerns or phobias, please let me know. I can arrange to keep the dog and cat out of the way of the workshop space when class is in session.
You agree to indemnify Magpie & Giggles and the instructor against any damages or injuries you may sustain to yourself or your belongings during the workshop.
Most importantly, remember to have fun! (I put this in here to see if anyone is still reading haha.) Weaving is a very therapeutic and meditative art, and I hope you will leave feeling elated at having made something and learned a new skill. 🙂
