This is a handwoven, crescent-shaped wall hanging made uniquely by me in my own home studio in Singapore. Pink Side of the Moon is a textural weaving that nestles two shards of raw moonstone crystals among pillows of art yarn that I’ve handspun, merino wool roving, as well as cotton and wool yarns. Moonstone enhances compassion, empathy and tempers emotions with its serene, milky hues and paired with the half moon, helps herald in new beginnings and intention. The crystals will be saged before the weaving is sent out.
This handwoven art piece measures 14cm across (woven width and frame) and 31cm tall (from the top of the crescent to the tail ends of the woven piece).
Please note that colours may differ slightly from what you see on screen. These product photos were taken with sunlight and have been edited minimally. As the moonstones are raw, unpolished pieces, it presents as more milky than opalescent.
