Hi! I’m Natasha. I run Magpie & Giggles where I make and sell handwoven wall hangings, spin yarn and run workshops to share my love for tapestry weaving in Singapore. I made my first wall hanging using a kit in 2016 and since being a mom, have turned to crafting to lift the droop of post-partum baby blues, and as a refuge to find myself after a long day of being mom.

Now that my kids are in school, I’m turning my attention to growing a business of spreading the love for squishy works of art to lift up smol spaces here in Singapore. My works of wall art feature large-and-in-charge art yarns made of merino wool that are blended and hand spun especially for each piece. They are woven alongside textures of wool, reclaimed cotton, and – in my floral series of weavings – preserved flowers lovingly dried from bouquets gifted to my clients, or put together just for my wall hangings. Each piece is ardently handmade in my home studio in Singapore, and I hope my heart work will bring you as much joy as it was for me to make them.
